Joining us at Who Do You Think You Are? Live? You’re probably busy checking out the workshop schedules, familiarising yourself with the show exhibitors and locating the best spot to grab a cuppa tea.

As you plan out your hour-by-hour itinerary for the show weekend, here are five things you should definitely put on your ‘Who Do’ Must Do List.

1. Visit the Ancestry stand
We’re excited to be sponsoring WDYTYA Live for the 11th year running and we’re pulling out all the stops for the 2017 show. You’ll be able to buy AncestryDNA from the stand, use our research area to browse the Ancestry site, reserve a 30 minute consultation with one of our ProGenealogists or simply come and have a chat with the members of our teams from London, Dublin and the USA. Don’t worry – you can’t miss us.

2. Attend the ‘DNA: Passport to your Family History Journey (Friday, 11-12pm, Theatre 1)
It wouldn’t be a Who Do show without Sir Tony Robinson joining us in the theatre and on the stand. This year, you’ll find Tony in Theatre 1 on Friday from 11-12pm chatting about DNA as a passport to your family history journey. Explore the journeys your DNA and ancestors have gone on, throughout history and geography, to make you who you are today. Tony will also be swinging by the Ancestry stand later in the day on Friday.

3. Attend AncestryDNA Genetic Communities™ workshop (Ancestry stand)
Genetic Communities is a brand new experience now available to new and existing AncestryDNA customers. But what are Genetic Communities? How useful are they in your family history research? What kind of things could you find out through these results? Join us on the Ancestry stand every day from 4-5pm as we discuss what you need to know about Genetic Communities.

4. Attend ProGenealogist’s DNA and the Paper Trail: An Essential Combination (Saturday, 11-12pm, Theatre 1)
We’re pretty excited about what DNA can do for family history researchers, but records and collections still play a vital role within research practises. So how can DNA assist you in the paper trail, and vice versa. Join our ProGenealogist team as they discuss this topic in Theatre 1 from 12-1pm on Saturday.

5. Attend A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived with Adam Rutherford (Saturday, 3-4pm, Theatre 1)
He’s the presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Inside Science, the author of A Brief History of Everyone who Ever Lived: The Stories in Our Genes, and knows a thing or two about DNA. Geneticist, Adam Rutherford will be taking over Theatre 1 on Saturday from 3-4pm to give a brief history of everyone who ever lived. This is one workshop that is not to be missed!

Now that you have the highlights, head over the Who Do You Think You Are Live website to grab your tickets and pre-book workshops for the weekend.
