Querin Surname Meaning
Italian:: habitational name for someone from Quero in Belluno province from querino an adjectival form of the placename.
Possibly from the Friuli dialect word quarin ‘spotted crake’ presumably used as a nickname for someone thought to resemble the bird in some way or for a bird catcher or fowler.
