Hastilow Family History
Hastilow Surname Meaning
From a lost place in Warwicks recorded as Hastelowe in about 1150, perhaps surviving as a field-name in Dunchurch parish recorded as Arsley in about 1720.
The place-name derives from an uncertain initial element + Old English hlāw ‘mound hill’.
