Aragonese: probably a topographic name from a dialectal form of arbre ‘tree’. The surname Aure is most common in the Philippines where it may possibly be of different origin.

French (Auré; mainly Vendée): habitational name from any of several places in western France named Auré or Auray. French (southern): topographic name for someone living in a windswept place from Old French (h)aure or ore ‘breeze wind’.
