Inholmes in Ditchling, Inholms Farm in East Grinstead, Inholms Farm in Plumpton, Inholms Copse in Stedham, Inholms Gill in Lower Beeding, and Inholms Wood in Cuckfield (all Sussex).
Initial N- arises through misdivision of Middle English atten innome and atte ninnome ‘at the intake’.
