FRANCES PALMER 84 of Livingston Texas passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008. Memorial services will be held Sunday August 3, 2008, 2:00PM at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston, with Rev. James Frazier and Rev. Paul Woodworth officiating. Frances was born August 4, 1923 in Alazan, Texas to parents Jesse and Era Herrington Deshazo. She began her business in Houston, Red Coach Interiors in 1967 and then later moved it to Livingston were it became The Landmark. Some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, sewing and repairing furniture. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Palmer who passed away in July of 1996, her grandson PFC Stuart Moore, and her sisters Juanita Duke and Billie Radford. Frances is survived by her three sons Bob Palmer and wife Sue of Houston, Larry Palmer of Houston and Mike Palmer of Houston, and her daughter Pam Moore and husband Dennis of Livingston. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chris Palmer of Houston, Tiffany Jones and husband Sam of Buffalo, Scott Palmer of Houston, great grandchildren Chance Moore of Buffalo, Tracy Jones of Buffalo, and Candice Moore of Livingston. In lieu of flowers the family has ask that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Stuart Moore Memorial, at 2801 Hwy 190 West, Livingston Texas 77351. Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
