I just saw your post on ancestry.com and it has been 12 years. I have no idea if this email still works, but I sure hope it does. My great-grandmother was Lola Imogene Wykle married to Jesse Alic Harmon. I just learned this last week. They had four children: Luke Harmon (my grandfather), Lorinda, Elmer and Samuel. Lola, Jesse, Luke and Samuel are buried in a cemetery on the eastside of Indianapolis. My grandmother, Gladys Oakes, married Luke in 1928. It appears they all moved to Indianapolis soon afterwards. I am desperately seeking information about why we are completely estranged from the family. My father, Robert Allen Harmon (adopted by a step-father and assumed the name O'Brien), is the only son I know of by Luke Harmon. I thought Luke died around 1933, but I just found out this week he died in 1948 (found his obit in the 1948 Indy Star after finding date of death written on a piece of paper). I don't believe my father knew he was alive from 1933-1948(my father died in Sept 2011). I very much would like to talk to you to find any answers to the many unfolding mysteries of this family. I have pictures of Elmer, Luke, Lola and Jesse.
