Japanese: written phonetically 加来 ‘increase’ and ‘come’. Found in Ōita prefecture in Kyūshū and sometimes pronounced Kako.

In western Japan there is another name Kaku 角 ‘square’ which can also be pronounced Sumi or Tsuno.

Indian (Andhra Pradesh Karnataka): Kamma (agrarian) and Muslim name of unexplained etymology.
