About this project
This project contains records of individuals who were freeholders in Surrey England between 1696-1824.

Choose the "Freeholders List" form type when the image contains a list of names of those who were freeholders.
Key the residence year as seen on the record. The residence year will typically appear at the top of the image. If more than one year appears on an image, create a new section for every new year.
Key any titles before the given name, such as "Dr," "Mr," or "Mrs," as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you.
Key the first name or initial and any middle names as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you. Initials should be keyed with a space between them and without entering the periods.
Key the surname as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you.
Key all titles, such as "Jr" or "III", following the surname as seen on the record using the dictionary provided to assist you.
Key the Residence Parish as seen on the record, using the dictionary provided to assist you. Do not key the name of the hundred. The parish will only appear once, and should be keyed to all records to which it applies.
Choose the "Target" form type when the image is of a color and/or grayscale target.
