Project Instructions For this collection we will be keying name, admission dates, discharge dates, ages/birth dates, and parent/relative information where available.

Note that some forms have the age of the primary individual while others have the birth date. Others intermix the two. Birth dates may also be written in randomly on a record entry, in the margins. If you can identify such a date for a record, then key it.

In keying parent/relative information, only key the father or mother in the respective fields. Step-parents, siblings, or other relations should be keyed into the designated Relative/Other Relative fields.

On some Admission images, Admission is crossed out with Discharge written in its place. In this instance, the image should be keyed as a Discharge.
