Extra Keying Helps
Language notes: zemřel (zemř.) means died, not born.
Common Keying Errors Found by Reviewers
I know it's kinda late in the game for common errors. But here are some.
- Key all diacriticals.
- Months: The directions ask for months to be in Czech, not English, they also ask for the correct grammatical form. (see the keying help for details)
- Surnames: use the alias surname field for maiden names. A name in the form Marta Hráská, roz. Picková will put Picková, in the alias surname field. the abbreviation roz. (translation: nee) will not be keyed at all.
- Names: unfortunately the directions are only asking you to extract the name of the primary person from documents in paragraph form. Someone is going through a lot of trouble extracting relatives. That unfortunately must be deleted in arbitration.
