Mecklenburg, Germany, Jewish Birth, Marriage, and Death Records, 1813-1918

This data collection contains original records and transcripts of Jewish records from congregations in the former Duchies of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz, now part of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The majority of the records consist of births, marriages, and deaths covering the years 1813-1918. However, some other miscellaneous records are also included. Sometimes the records are written in Hebrew instead of German.
