About U.S., Official National Guard Register, 1925

This is a listing of the officers and sergeant instructors of the National Guard for all the states in 1925. Database information includes name, rank, regiment, company, birth date, birthplace, state, and page number. The records also include information on the organization of the unit and each person's complete military record up to that point. Also, it contains educational information on many, specifically college and military training. This is an excellent resource for anyone who is looking for military records between World War I and World War II. In addition to states, the database covers the territories of District of Columbia, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. Approximately half of these soldiers were born between 1885 and 1895, so the database should help in locating families around the time of the missing 1890 U.S. Federal Census. Birth dates range from 1862 through 1904.
