John Constable's Discourses

This database is part of the Suffolk Records Society collection and contains the discourses of John Constable, one of Britain's most famous landscape artists. These discourses include all of Constable's more formal words, whether given in speech or in writing, and are a great source for studying him and his life. However, this work can also be used as a historical reference for his native Suffolk County.
