About England Directory, 1811
This database contains the 1811 directory of England. It includes a London directory of names and places of abode, and a court and country directory of all the ladies and gentlemen of fashion (most likely those of nobility), including the names of those who are members of the Inns of Court. The portion of the directory arranged by place name lists the street name and the names of the heads of households who live on each street. The alphabetical directory of the people of fashion lists their names and their addresses. The Inns of Court are comprised of the collegiate legal societies that train barristers for the Bar.
