About Compiled List of Jews in Concentration Camps, 1945

Shortly after the end of World War II, American Military officials in Germany attempted to document what happened to those who died and survived in concentration camps. This collection was compiled from a notebook and contains the information of about 1,000 Jews who were killed. Many of the individuals are German in origin but there are also people from Hungary, Austria, and Romania. Some of the information includes the person's names, birth and death dates, city or country of origin, camp to which they were deported, and camp where they died.
