Osaki Name Meaning

Japanese (Osaki): ‘great cape’; a name found mostly in eastern Japan. An older family is listed in the Shinsen shojiroku, and an apparently later family, descended from the Minamoto clan, took the name from their residence in Shimosa (now part of Chiba prefecture).
