Ohana Family History
Ohana Name Meaning
Jewish (from Morocco): from the Berber prefix u- ‘son of’ + uncertain root that can be either the female Biblical personal name Hanna 6 or an unattested Judeo-Arabic male personal name Ḥan(n)a (hypocoristic form of any name starting in Ḥan-) or the Berber word ḥenna ‘grandmother’ (possibly taken by an orphan raised by his grandmother).
