Logo Name Meaning
Greek: reduced form of Logothetis, status name in Byzantium for a high ecclesiastical dignitary or for the keeper of the emperor’s seal, also the person who composed the emperor’s speeches and wrote his decrees. The term is derived from Greek logos ‘word’, ‘speech’ + thetes, an agent noun from tithemi ‘to put’ This was also in use as a personal name, and there are patronymic forms such as Logothetides and Logothetopoulos.
