Glockner Name Meaning
German (also Glöckner): topographic, habitational, or occupational name, from an agent derivative of Middle High German glocke, glogge ‘bell’ (see Glock). In some parts of Germany, Glockner is the usual term for a sexton. Compare Kirchner, Mesner, and Oppermann.
