Dale Ralph Juchemich, age 58, of 168 N. Tamarack Street, Gwinn, died early Saturday morning, October 14, 2006 at his home.

Mr. Juchemich was born on February, 13, 1948 in Ishpeming to Edward and Marie (Johns) Juchemich. After graduating from high school, he worked for the A.O. Smith Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and for the Milwaukee Railroad Company as a pipe fitter before returning to the Upper Peninsula Michigan. He worked for Mr. Tire in Marquette and attended Northern Michigan University. He then worked for the K.I. Sawyer Commissary as a meat cutter until his retirement.

Dale enjoyed painting, cooking and helping his friends and family. He was an avid fisherman and loved to make venison jerky for his friends. Mr. Juchemich was an active member to the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gwinn. He was a good husband, and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, the former Harriette Sheahan who he married on March 21, 1981 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee; one daughter, Katherine Juchemich of Milwaukee; two sisters, Carol (Raymond) Perault of Ishpeming and Diane (Al) Langevine of Marquette; three brothers, Richard (Jean) Juchemich of Marquette, Billy (Joan) Juchemich of Harvey and Edward Juchemich of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; one grandson, Adonis Nash of Milwaukee; two special friends, Karen Karlton of Ishpeming and Peggy Tischendorf of Milwaukee; his father Edward Juchemich also survives. He was preceded by his mother; one son, Dennis Juchemich; one brother, Tim Juchemich; one sister, Marlene Burns; one nephew, Glenn Juchemich.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Gwinn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 18, 2006 at 3:00 pm. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gwinn with Rev. Ronald Timock officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Negaunee Cemetery.
