Hi Hugh,

I have a number of Thomas McBrides in my family tree- a very popular name at the time! I dont have one who married a Fawcet though. If you have any other info on this Thomas I will research it a bit more for you. I have been warned by a local family member though... lots of McBrides in the area, not all are related. Fingers crossed though!

Kind Regards,
Stacy

I believe I too have a connection to Samuel McBride through my late mother, nee Margaret (Biddy) McBride. She was born on 1 January 1907 and had a step-brother, Samuel, who emigrated to Canada.
I also believe that Thomas McBride is a relative....Royal Irish Fusiliers who died aged 25 on 04/04/1916....buried St Sever Cemetry, Rouen. His parents were John and Ellen McBride of Muckrim, Toomebridge.
