The family record showing the van der Brink family left the municipality of Doornspijk on 24 Jan 1882. It looks like their destination was Castle? Holland in Noord America.

(this is the best resolution I could get.)

Thank you so much! We have quite a bit of information on several of them, but, very little on Betsey Vandenbrink. Much of that is new information. Beyond her, we had nothing. Some of my family is going to the Netherlands and hoping to visit find homes, relatives, etc... of our ancestory. I'm not very good at navigating this system yet, so your help was appreciated. Thanks again.

You're welcome, it is not an easy thing to search for records in a foreign language. We are also a little unlucky that they immigrated in 1882 after the 1880 census and since the 1890 census was largely destroyed it would be the 1900 census and the parent would have been in their 60's by then.

I noticed that none of the public trees here had any of this info.

The wiewaswie site is pretty good but I had some difficulty locating the parents of Gerrit who was born at Doornspijk in 1833.

I did locate the parents Cornelis in a population registry of 1830 for Doornspijk, they were married but still no children. It did indicate that Cornelis was born 1796 at Oldebroek, and Beijgje in 1803 also at Oldebroek. So it was worth a try to see if they got married at Oldebroek:

Marriage Cornelis van den Brink

1 Mar 1822 at Oldebroek

From the wiewaswie record it indicates it is the 5th marriage in 1822:

Jan Rijkse the father of Cornelis van den Brink (b.1796) gets married again 28 Dec 1803 at Oldenbroek to Geertje Albert. It says with "attestatie" from Doornspijk which means they got permission to move from the church in Doornspijk to Oldenbroek.

This helps to find Jan's death record in wiewaswie because we can cross reference with his second wife Geertje Alberts

It is very likely that Cornelisje Gerrits was baptized 29 May 1768 at Oldenbroek daughter of Gerrit Franksen and Jennigjen Derks

Luke,
This other site, came up with Gerrit being born in Apledoorn, Gelderland. His dad was Hendrik and his mom was Aaltje van Laar.
