There seems to be some correlation between my family and yours. I don't have my ancestor's siblings listed, but John Scott and Chloe Riggs married in Surry, NC in 1778. John died in 1811 in Washington County, KY. He was the Sheriff. Chloe died in 1853 in Groveland, Tazwell, IL. My ancestor Keziah Scott b. 1789 Surry, NC. Children born in Washington County, KY. She died in 1861 in Lebanon, Marion, KY

Keziah Scott married Benedict Raley and had LOTS of children. Many of the sons migrated to Indian Creek Settlement, Monroe County, MO. In looking at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church records, I believe there are Caffee's listed there.
