Maybe some of you can check to see if you have a G. Buonocore on your side. We could be related. My great grandmother whose maiden name was Guiseppina Buonocore was from Vico Equense in Massaquano Italy outside of Naples. She was married to Francesco Cuomo and had 8 children. My grandfather came to the US from Naples around 1911. His destination was a realtive named G. Buonocore. He lived in NYC and bronx I think. My grandfather married Josephine Naclerio in the US and had 4 kids. Anyway if anybody might have info I would appreciate it. Believe it or not this site put me in touch with first cousins of my mom's in Italy. email me at kyavorek@rochester.rr.com

Hello! Unfortunately, I don't have proof that we could be related, but let me tell you what I do know about my family. My great grandfather Antonio Buonocore was an orphan who came to New York around 1895. He was originally from a small village outside of Naples. Unfortunately, my grandfather has passed away, and I don't have much information, but my mother has told me that Buonocore is not very common, so it is quite possible that we have some connection. My great grandfather married a woman named Elizabeth, and they had nine children. They lived in Manhattan on 35th Street on the West Side until the late 40's or early 50's. As far as I know, we didn't have any relatives in the Bronx, but it is possible. Currently, there are Buonocores all over the New York Metropolitan area. Hope this might help you somehow!
