Bleeks ancestry

Surnames: BLEEKS
Three or Four of my relations fought in the World war, one of them which were William Bleeks in the WW1 and either two or three in WW2, Thomas Bleeks and George Bleeks I think. They were originally from Stewartstown County Tyrone Northern Ireland. I know that William that died in WW1 is buried in possibly Eqypt. Relations are most definitely buried in the cementry in Stewartstown. I am currently finding out more information and will post when I receive it.

I am related to Annie Bleeks, born September 21, 1892, died February 12, 1983. She married George N. Neill who was born April 10, 1887 and died April 24, 1968. They had 10 children. George was from Drumlegallion, North Ireland.

I am not sure how Annie is related to me, but all my family came from Stewartstown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Some names in my family are Moffat, Morrison, Miligan, Crawford, Neill, Jones, and more.

Any one who can help me???

Hi there, I came across your posting and I actually live in Stewartstown, where your ancestors are from. There are still a number of Bleeks families living in the area and the war memorial in the square has enscriptions from both the First and Second World Wars with the name Bleeks. Email me.
