The earliest mention I've found of Jonas Emanuel Sjöberg is when he is a fosterson in the household of Anders Andersson Lundberg in Kungsängen parish, Stockholm county (previously named Näs and Stockholms-Näs). He was born in Stockholm in 1786 or 1785 and came from there in 1786. He went to Holm parish, Uppsala county in 1797 and requested his moving out certificate from Kungsängen in 1800.
In Holm he lived and worked at the Sjö estate which was owned by the de la Gardie family. He was married to Anna Fredricsdotter who died in 1815.
I haven't traced him in detail, but in 1825-1829 he is found in Gryt parish (annexed to Kviinge), Kristianstad county.
