Have you thought about doing a DNA test for genealogical research? Has the cost prevented you from getting started?
I am looking for MALE MEACHAM/MECHAM (other variants may be considered) who have not already participated in a Y-DNA test. I am hoping to increase the number of participants in the MEACHAM project in an effort to help find Jeremiah Meacham's parents/origin from England. We simply need more men to test (easy cheek swab) to hopefully find a potential match. I am willing to pay for your test and you can have all the results and matches for your research as well.
Are you a male MEACHAM/MECHAM or do you know someone? I'd love to talk to you and go into more details.
I will list my specific interests below, however, if you are a MEACHAM/MECHAM, send me a message, I would love to talk to you.
I am specifically looking for male MEACHAMs who do NOT descend directly from Jeremiah Meacham (b1613).
I am interested in MEACHAM/MECHAMs who currently live in England.
I am also interested in descendants of the following:
DENNY MACHAM of Oxford, 1624 Bampton
AMBROSE MEACHAM and URSULA PERRIE m:1600 Crewkerne. (only if research shows you descend from a child other than Jeremiah Meacham)
HENRY MAKIN of Sudbury; will 1652
GEORGE MAKIN of Sudbury; will 1674
EDWARD MAYKIN of Sudbury; will 1640
CALEB MEACHAM and ELIZABETH DANES; m1611 Cranbrook, Kent, England
JOHN MAWKINS and MARY: early 1600s had children in Cranbrook, Kent, England
