My fiancé's family were also Lombardi described as being "from Calabria" until they moved North to Borgosesia. The move would be around 1950ish.

Fiance's father was Vincenzo, son of Michele Lombardi and Loreta Sassano. Vincenzo was born in Forenza, Potenza, Basilicata in 1934. There were seven siblings.

Not sure how folks get out to the States - looks like the generation above Michele (around 1900) but have no info on them. A lot do seem to end up in Brasil too if that's any use?
