WARREN – Wanda Lombardi, 92, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2014.
She was born April 15, 1921, in Warrensburg, N.Y., the daughter Iselin and Oressa Prosser Brayton.
Wanda came to Warren, Ohio (Trumbull County) in 1941.
She retired from Clyde Cole Cadillac on E. Market Street as an office manager after 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Penn Ohio Polka Pals Boosters.
Wanda enjoyed dancing, traveling and quilting.
She is survived by her four children Ross J. “Sonny” (Susan) Lombardi of Warren, Barbara A. “Bobbie” Petiya of Howland, Ohio, Josephine “Jo” (Ronnie) Chalker of Howland and Toni (Gary) O’Malley of Howland; seven grandchildren, Anthony (Michelle), David (Erika), Debbie (Sean), Katie, Jessica (Gary), Kelli and Molly; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Baertschi of Lake George, N.Y., and Cheryl (Paul) Lamparella of Rochester, N.Y., and a brother-in-law, Sam Lanza of Warren, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother Dorothy Brayton; husband Joseph “D.D.” Lombardi, whom she married Dec. 1, 1942, and who passed away Aug. 4, 2005; son-in-law Eugene Petiya; and two brothers, Paul and Jerry Brayton.
Family and friends may call on Monday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Warren.
