Looking for the DWAN family in Tipperary parish Toomevara. Moved to
Charleston South Carolina. In Charleston there is an Thomas, Michael,
Stephen, George Dwan. Michaels Tombstone in St Lawrence Cemetery in
Charleston is as follows

Michael's wife was Hannah according to Death Index Cards she was born 1810
and died 7/5/1879 at City Hosp in Charleston of Mammory Cancer. Their 2
children Bertha and Edward who living with Michael Kelly (he was from
Tipperary also) and listed as sister and brother in laws in 1880 Charleston
Census. Michael Kelly married Margaret Dwan dau of Micheal & Hannah. There is
a Stephen Dewane living close. He poss is the son of Thomas or a younger
brother of Thomas and Michael. He, Stephen was born 1836 Ireland and died
April 3 1906 in Charleston of Cancer of the tongue and throat. Stephen
married Mary and had William 1875 and Joseph 1873.
Thomas brother of Michael was born 1829 died Sept 11-1881 of Cardiac disease
in Charleston. All the above, except Edward(can't find his death) are buried
in St lawrence cemetery Charleston South Carolina
