Has there been any progress on the genealogical searches of Lewis / Lewis D D Duke lately??? Now that DNA analyses are becoming more and more common - shouldn't some answers be falling out?? Also - please - let's differentiate between someone named "Lewis Duke" and "Lewis D S Duke" - maybe by attaching birth dates behind their names, etc?? Lewis Duggan Sydney Duke (1825-1905) is my gggrandfather followed by my ggrandmother being his daughter; Louisa Sydney Duke (1867-1919), followed by my grandfather Lee Andrew Duke(1896-1942) and My father Raymond Edsel Duke (1922-2012). According to multiple sources, Lewis D S Duke (1825) has no documented birth or parental records but there seems to be a multitude of "possibilities". I sincerely would like to locate some documented evidence of whether he was a bastard child or step-child or adopted child of Elizabeth Duke or someone else!! It would seem that someday soon - DNA analyses may tell me the answer... Lewis D S Duke (1825) has a subset of DNA records listed in "myFTDNA.com" but I have yet not found a way to link my DNA to his for analysis. My (Karn Lee Duke (1946) ) "kit number is B517157 and his (Lewis D S Duke (1825)) kit number is 488348. Anyone know how this works??
