I was born in Mammoth and I still have relatives living in the area, step mother, two aunts and several cousins. My dad, Freeman Burrow was born and raised in that area and died there in Oct. 1996. My stepmother, Marie Burrow lives on Barton Hill, one aunt, Merle Peebles use to own a hotel in Thayer and I have another aunt and uncle, Velva and Earl Flynn who live out on Highway 9 near Fryatt.
I know quite a lot about your family. It was one of the first that settled in that area. Amon Nolan Burrow died Jan. 12, 1951 at the age of 57 years, 4 months and 26 days. Vesta Bryant Burrow was born Oct. 02, 1895 and died June 21, 1990. Both are buried in the Byrd Freewill Babtist Cemetery in Myrtle. Amon and Vesta were married July 08, 1913 at the home of Amon's father, Tindrell Burrow. Amon was under the age of 18 when he was married.
Tindrell Burrow was born in Oregon County in 1852. He was married twice, first to Martha Missouri Stagner, June 01, 1874. They divorced and Tindrell married Enda E. Lamb, Nov. 20, 1884. Edna was the mother of Perry Stanford Burrow who died Nov. 05, 1918, Amon Nolan Burrow, born Aug. 06, 1892, died Jan. 12, 1951 and Samuel Burrow who was born in 1897 and died Jan. 29, 1956.
The children of Tindrell's first wife were, Tindrel M. Burrow, married Martha Brock
Peter Burrow, married Mary E. Cantrell

These children are buried in the Field Creek Cemetery along with several other Burrow's.
My family lived in Fulton and Sharp Counties and most are buried in the Riverside Cemetery.
