I found a passenger record for an Albert Bechacq, age 25, his wife Josephine, age 30, and daughter Elizabeth, age 7, sailing from St Pierre on the Chateau Lafite arriving in New York on 10 April 1893.http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?ti=0&indiv=tr...
On the 1911 English census Maurice Bechacq and his mother (no first name, just listed as widow of Bechacq) are living in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester. Maurice's birthplace is given as New York and his mother's is St Malo, France. It also shows she had four children who were all still living.http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?ti=0&indiv=tr...
I also found the military record (attached) for an Albert Laurent Edouard Bechacq born 13 March 1868 in St Pierre to Pierre Bechacq and Elisabeth Kagen. He died 2 March 1906 in St Malo. His death record (attached) gives his wife's name as Josephine Françoise Lion who was born on 5 October 1862 in Plerguer, Ille et Vilaine, France which is about 15 miles from St Malo.
I then checked the St Malo records and found the birth record (attached) for Andrée Albertine Bechacq, born on 7 April 1901 to Albert and Josephine. It notes that she married Pierre Fillatreau on 8 March 1924 in Paramé, St Malo.
There was also a listing in the St Malo 10-year index for a marriage between Maurice Pierre Alphonse Bechacq and Rose Avransart on 21 August 1920. The online records for St Malo only go to 1913 so I couldn't look at the actual record.
Hope that's some help.
