Mrs. W.H. Miller

Mary Ann Richland was born in Oneida county, N.Y., March 19, 1844.

The parents were Justus J. and Catherine Wandell Richmond, and she was married to the late W.H. Miller on March 19, 1866. To this union three children were born, as follows:
Ethelda M. Ahola, Hattie A. Elliott and Bertha E. Mattson, all of whom survive her.

Mrs. Miller also leaves eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also four sisters -- Sara Sheldon and Emma Shenkle of Violet; Henrietta Day of Stayton, Oregon, and Ida Turner of Portland.

She departed this life on September 9, 1929, at the age of 85 years, 5 months, and 21 days.

Mrs. Miller came to Klickitat, with her husband, in the year 1877, and had made her home in this county continuously.

MRS. MARY A. MILLER

Mary Ann Richmond was born in Oneida county, New York, March 19, 1844. Her parents were Justus J. and Catherine Wandell Richmond and she was married to the late W.H. Miller on March 19, 1866.

To this union three children were born, Ethelda M. Ahola, of Stevenson, Wash., Hattie A. Elliott, of Toppenish, Wash., and Bertha E. Mattson, of Centerville, Wash., all of whom survive her. Mrs. Miller also leaves eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and four sisters, Sarah Sheldon and Emma Shenkle of Iowa; Henrietta Day, of Stayton, Oregon, and Ida Turner of Portland, Oregon.

Mrs. Miller departed this life on September 9th, 1929, at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 21 days. She has lived a Christian life, joining the Baptist church at the age of 14 years, but later took her membership with the M.E. church.

She came to Klickitat with her husband in the year 1877 and had made a her home here with the exception of a few years when they resided in Whittier, California.
