Mrs. Emma Paisley, 91, a resident of the Valley Crest Nursing Home, Plains Township, formerly of Hollars Hill, died Friday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She had been a guest at Valley Crest the past three years. Born in Hollywood, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Lizzie (Williams) Drasher, and spent most of her life in Hollars Hill. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George, who died in 1971; a son, George Jr., a sister, Violet Roll, and a brother, Charles Drasher. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Emma) Hale, Harwood, Arlene Pickenheim, Hazleton; a son, Howard, Nazareth; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Hazel Kite, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Monday at the convenience of the family from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Richard D. Abernethy, pastor of St. Paul's Reformed United Church of Christ, West Hazleton, officiating. Interment will be in St. John's cemetery.
