Hi Brenda I have Joshua Murrah Jr. b. 19/21 Sep. 1793 Wilkes Co. N.C. m. Nancy Barnes 24 Dec. 1822 Adair Co. Ky Nancy b. ca. 1800. I have 4 kids listed William b. ca 1823 Adair Co. m. Elizabeth Rebecca Rogers 21 Mar. 1848 R.C. Ky, Allen served CSA Co K 53 Al. Partisan Rangers 1863 m. Joanna Barger 2 Jun. 1859 Ky Joanna b. Oct. 1835 Ky, Sarah Sallie b. ca 1838 m. Cyrus Wheat 9 Nov. 1848 R.C. Ky he served as Postmaster and owned a store with s-i-l Z.T. Williams. Cyrus & Sarah filed for Div. and then stayed together, Elizabeth Mariah b.4 Nov. 1844 d. 29 Jan 1928 m. her cousin Dr. William D. Murrah 28 May 1865 Taylor Co. Ky Wm. b. 14 Jan. 1836 A.C. Ky. d. 9 Mar. 1895 T.C. Ky. He served CSA 3rd Ky ing. Co. G. he was wounded in left knee by a shell. he was a Mason & Republican and belonged to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is the son of Joseph Murrah & Mary Easley. My sources 1850, 1860 R.C. Ky 1900 Adair Co., 1900 Elkhorn Co. Ky footsteps, and Ky pioneers. I have much more. Additions & corrections are welcomed..
