WILTON, Iowa - Marie Ellen Zybarth, 86, Wilton, died on Friday, July 19, 2002, at Riverbend Nursing and Rehabilitation in Muscatine.

Service at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton, officiating will be Fr. Brian Shepley. Musical selections will be provided by vocalist, Henry Bentley. Private family interment will take place on Tuesday at the Watkins Cemetery, Nichols, Iowa.

She was born on May 16, 1916, to James and Viola (Watkins) Oostendorp in Nichols, Iowa. She married Edward J. Zybarth on August 5, 1935, in Nichols. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1992.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the REC Wives. She loved her family, dancing and music.

Survivors include three daughters JoEllen Meyer of Wilton, Joan (Mrs. Jerry) Snedden of Wilton, Patricia (Mrs. Robert) Grage of Muscatine; one son Jerry (and his wife Veronica) Zybart of DeWitt, Iowa; one Sister Helen Grandenitte of Davenport, Iowa; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters Beatrice Taylor, Lucille Loman; two brothers Max Oostendorp, Daryl Oostendorp, and twin sons in infancy.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Jeanette Esther Zybarth, 90, formerly of Muscatine, died Friday, October 14, 2005, at Northbrook Manor in Cedar Rapids.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Mathias Church Muscatine. The Reverend John P. Gallagher of the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish will officiate the service. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Muscatine.

Visitation at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Ss. Mary and Mathias Parish.

Jeanette was born on August 28, 1915, in Muscatine, the daughter of Edwin and Mabel Steinfurt Bunn. She married Ralph 'Buzz' Zybarth on May 31, 1941, in Muscatine at the St. Mathias Church. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She was a member of the St. Mathias Church and the Women of the Moose.

She was a great Bridge player and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include one son, Terry J. Zybarth and wife, Terry, of Cedar Rapids; one daughter Toni L. Messinger and husband, Richard, of Alton, Illinois; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Charlotte.
