About this project
This project will consist of keying name, rank, service place, and service date information for indivinduals listed in the order book of General James Wilkinson.

Choose the Index Entry form type for use on index images which contain name information only in the header above the dotted line. Index pages which do not have names should be labeled as "Cover page, Section header, etc." Do not key "General James Wilkinson" located below the dotted line.

Key the Rank as seen on the image using the dictionary provided to assist you.

Key any titles before the Given name, such as "Dr", "Rev", "Mr" or "Mrs". Do not key ranks in the Prefix field. Ranks should be keyed in the rank field.

Service Place
Key the military service place as seen from the location noted in the entry date and place header. Do not key the word "Contenment", which means encampment.

Key the Service Month in its three letter abbreviation from the date header using the dictionary provided to assist you.
