Q: Am I correct that the instructions say to type digits for a month if digits are on the page rather than letters so that if I see "6409", I would enter month 09 and year 64? The word month is left off the form, so it says "military" rather then "military month". I find that digits are almost impossible to enter for the month.
- A: Yes, that is correct. I don't know if you would key 09 or 9 as month. For days we do not use leading zeroes. That's a question for WAP to answer. --Wiedwoman 02:44, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Q: I'm sorry, I keyed 2 image sets before reading this question and clarification. Now it seems that a large percentage, 100% of the few hundred records I've keyed and am getting ready to key, will need to have every month field F7'ed. Is there an easy way to key a 2 digit number into the month field without needing to open the suggestion list each time?
- A: I find the best way to do this is to have your fingers ready to type the 2 digit number very quickly! That way the keying tool doesn't have time to stop you. Then F7 them all when you have keyed all the records as it will give you the option to accept all instances of each value together. --Katerimmer 14:30, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
