Extra Keying Helps
Common Keying Errors Found by Reviewers
Not putting the full birthplace. Alot of them mention counties. They should be keyed as seen with comma's as the below examples:
Do not expand the county name or add England. Key the info 'as seen', but do not include Co for County.
I have reviewed quite a lot where the county is missed completely.
Do not add Residency date unless it has 'matric' in front of it. Do not 'assume' any date.
Suffix Alot of keyers are missing suffix of MA (or other suffixes) out, this is found at the end of someone's name. I.e MA, BA
- Anna has just posted to the new project Q&A's that we are not to key these....
People Include each person found in the list, including those that do not have birthdate or matriculation date.

It looks like there is a discrepancy in the Oxford List description. The last sentence has the following: 'Index images should be classified as "Cover page, Section header, etc." form types and should not be keyed.' It looks like the Index images are supposed to be classified as 'Index', not 'Cover Pages', as stated later in the description of 'Index'. -- Corrected -- Wiedwoman 15:07, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
