Q: Are we keying all duplicates of a record or only if there is a difference in spelling/dates?
- A: We are to key all records unless they are true duplicates. If there is any difference in any of the fields except the code numbers, they should be keyed. -- Wiedwoman 23:29, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Q: I have a record with two pairs of twins. They are indicated with a letter T between two ) marks to the right of the names. Do I ignore the twin designation or enter it in some way?
- A: You would key two records. This has been confirmed by Anna. -- Wiedwoman 18:58, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
Q: In the case of a record where the mother's surname is the same as the child's and there is no father's given name listed, do we leave both of the father's fields blank?
A: A reply in the Message Boards, states that the father's name should be left blank in this case.
