This page is dedicated to the ancestors of Mathias Reasonover (Reisenhoover) who came to New Bern, NC about 1709 from the Palentine region of Germany.  His ancestors were farmers, craftsmen, soldiers, and pioneers and among the first settlers in central Tennessee(about 1806)and Texas (about 1829).  I would be happy share my research and to hear from anyone with family information, especially regarding Texas and the decendents of Peru Benson Reasonover, Thomas Benson Reasonover, and/or Samuel Simpson Reasonover.  I will add more information as time permits.
