Monroe is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1820 from the following county/ies: Barren/Cumberland. Monroe began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1863, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1863, probate records in 1861, and court records in 1862.
