Lee is a county in Iowa. It was formed in 1836 from the following county/ies: Des Moines. Lee began keeping birth records in 1880, marriage records in 1837, and death records in 1880. It began keeping land records in 1830, probate records in 1841, and court records in 1849. For more information, contact the county at 933 Ave. H, Ft. Madison 52627, and, Keokuk 52632.
