Cooke is a county in Texas. It was formed in 1848 (organized 1849) from the following county/ies: Fannin. Cooke began keeping birth records in 1870, marriage records in 1854, and death records in 1903. It began keeping land records in 1830, probate records in 1849, and court records in 1849.
