When Daniel Conboy and his twin brother Patrick were born in 1882 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, their father, Patrick, was 25, and their mother, Mary, was 26. He married Florenda Wilson on 31 May 1909 in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died as a young father on 3 May 1915 at the age of 33, and was buried in Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
