Serbin Family History
Serbin Name Meaning
Spanish: variant of Servin . Polish and Sorbian: from a variant of the ethnic name Serb ‘Sorb’ for a member of the Slavic people in Lusatia in eastern Germany (see also Wendt ). The Polish surname may in some cases possibly be from a homonymous ethnic name Serb ‘Serb’ denoting someone from Serbia in the Balkans. Polish: perhaps also an occupational name from serbin ‘fiddler gusle player’.
