Japanese (pronounced as two syllables): written 小瀬 ‘small torrent’. It is not very common in Japan. Japanese (Ōse; pronounced as two syllables): written 大瀬 ‘large torrent’. It is mostly found along the coast west of Tokyo but is not very common.
