To start discovering your family’s memories, just think of a relative who could have been alive in 1911 — maybe a parent or grandparent?
When you find a relative, view the record image. You’ll see a snapshot of their life as it was in 1911, with their occupation, address and all the people they lived with.
Pick someone who’s older than 10 in 1911, and look for them in the 1901 Census. If you can discover your relatives as children, you’ll usually find their parents as well.
Add the relatives you already knew about, plus all the new ones from our census records. Then we’ll help you find more magic moments with our exclusive Hints
